Infusing his contemporary vision into every element of the House, creative director Alessandro Michele recasts the Gucci Bamboo fragrance in a modern expression.
Originally released in Spring 2015, the new Gucci Bamboo Limited bottle comes in an refined art deco inspired lines, and a silver stopper in the form of bamboo. The lavender hued outer packing depicts a bamboo garden.
Gucci Bamboo Limited Edition’s eau de parfum is the original woody floral fragrance, tinted a jewel tone to celebrate the scent’s new chapter. Soft and intense at once, the scent blooms with notes of exotic Casablanca Lily and Tahitian Vanilla. Sandalwood and Grey Amber balance the femininity with a woody contrast, to create a statement of strength and sophistication.
Photographer Glen Luchford was signed up to shoot the new campaign film. Bringing to life the scent’s inspiration, the film features model Polina Oganicheva reclines in a wicker chair in a pink lace and silk ruffled gown in a dimly-lit room next to a wooden cage filled with small birds.
Gucci Bamboo Limited Edition will be available this February 2017 in 50ml (RM 378).
