Ask yourself, would you like the feeling of underwire as you toss and turn around while you get some rest? You wouldn’t, right? According to an article in The Huffington Post, the answer is actually more neutral. “Sagging or changes in the breast are due to a number of factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding being the most common causes, along with time and gravity,” according to the associate professor of surgery and director of the Breast Cancer Surgery Multidisciplinary Fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Ladies, you need to find a bra that fits you. This is because a tight bra will restrict blood flow and can affect the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is a vital function to release the waste-products from the body, thus if your lymphatic system did not function well, it will lead to breast cancer.
Thus, if you would like to sleep with a bra on, do wear a wire-free bra or a bra that fits you perfectly. While for those who prefer bra-free, do continue on what you are doing!
