The Body Shop is bringing a wild campaign this festive season where it pledged to restore one square meter of rainforest with each festive gift set sold throughout Christmas. The brand plans to continue its Bio-Bridge (restored wildlife corridors within damaged landscapes that help endangered species reconnect, enabling them and local communities to live more sustainably) programme in Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Together with Wildlife Conservation Society-Malaysia (WCS-Malaysia), The Body Shop aims to prevent habitat fragmentation, the greatest threat to endangered animals, like the Malayan Tiger and Asian Elephant. Thd Bio-Bridge will help allow critically endangered wildlife to roam in a larger protected landscape of Endau Rompin.
To add more to the act of giving this festive season, The Body Shop is bringing back its Kick the Bag campaign where for every bag taken by their customers, RM0.50 is collected and donated to the campaign; but if you decline the bag, The Body Shop will donate RM0.50 to the fund.
