The annual Sephora Fall 2018 Press Day happened just a few days ago and boy, this time, a bunch of new skincare and makeup brands are making their way to the stores and online between August to October 2018! Read on to find out what’s to come!
Makeup
New season calls for new makeup so there’s a lot of interesting things that are coming for Fall which you can look forward to! Stila is adding new shades to its popular Liquid Eyeshadow and those shades will come in a liquid eyeliner and pencil eyeliner form too! Not forgetting new shades to the awesome Liquid Lipsticks range too!
It Cosmetics is bringing in a new CC+ Cream formula, an Oil-Free Matte that’s great for those with oily skin and it comes with nice range of shades too.
Hourglass Cosmetics revealed a major release that will change your mascara game and we’re one of the lucky ones to see and try it, meet the Caution Extreme Lash Mascara! That luxe gold packaging is no joke, it’s heavier than the usual.
Of course, you can’t miss out of the Becca Cosmetics X Chrissy Teigen collection! The Glow Body Oil feels lightweight and is not too OTT glittery so you can even use it daily as a moisturising body oil! The lip glosses are not sticky at all and it’s pigmented too. The compact is amazing as an all over face powder and separate for blush, bronzer and highlight.
The Too Faced Peach Perfect collection is peachy amazing too if you love the scent of peaches. Newly formulated Born This Way Concealers with pigmentation and airy textures to boot and new Melted Matte Metallics Liquid lipstick that dries down to a metallic matte finish. Then, we had a peek at their 20th Anniversary collection which is a glitter wonderland!
Nudestix’s co-founder, Taylor was there to share tips on how she uses the new Tinted Blue Stick which is amazing for giving your skin to that soft, filtered look when you’re going low-key with your makeup or on top of makeup. Also, there will be 3 new shades of Gel Color Lip & Cheek Balm too!
Cover FX is taking a step back from glitter with a new range of velvety matte foundations and concealers called Power Play coming in 24 shades! Speaking of 24, the brand is also releasing 2 new setting sprays that sprays out in a fine mist that will not disrupt your makeup, one in a Dewy Finish and the other is called High Performance which has been proven to let your makeup stay on for 24 hours.
The 3CE X Maison Kitsune collection is adorable and is coming in next month!
Zoeva is bringing old Hollywood glam with the Screen Siren collection made up of face and eye brush sets, eyeshadow and face palettes, and new lip tints.
China makeup brand, Marie Dalgar is also making its Malaysian debut soon with its holographic and metallic shades in some of the prettiest packaging.
Tarte Cosmetics is bringing in new skincare and a flower power makeup collection that you will love!
Another new makeup brand that’s making their way to our shores, Pretty Vulgar! Hailing from LA, the vintage-inspired packaging is gorgeous and the shade range is pretty awesome too!
Smashbox is bringing in the limited edition Valda collection, new eyeshadow palettes in new eyeshadow metallic formulas that are pigmented and new makeup brushes.
Skincare
Most of the new brands that are coming to Sephora are skincare so get excited because indie brands such as Allies Of Skin, Kopari, and Starskin Pro are coming soon!
While brands such as Fresh Beauty, Pixi, Glamglow, Kora Organics, Alpha H and Saturday Skin are also bringing new products to their existing range.
Hair
IGK also made its way to Malaysian shores with its really awesome packaging and products. We even got to try out its star product, the Good Behaviour Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray aka Keratin-like treatment in a can that controls frizz for 24 hours!
IGK products are vegan, cruelty & gluten-free, petrolatum & mineral oil free, and parables & sulphate-free (SLS or SLES) so you know that you’re getting only the good stuff.
Not forgetting some new styling products from Percy & Reed such as the Beyond The Beach Texture Spray & Up, Up & Away Root Lift Mousse. The Root Lift Mousse definitely added more volume to our roots!
