During the Fall/Winter 2020 Show of Marc Jacobs, which capped off this year’s New York Fashion Week, every model that walked the runway for had a unique look – ranging from a winged eyeliner, to bold red lipstick, to a healthy glow.
The makeup was led by Pat McGrath using Marc Jacobs Beauty, with inspiration on modern beauty, and an exploration of individuality.
“There is an individual look for each model – from a light smoky eye to strong winged liner and red lips, and all the way to fresh and dewy, no makeup looks. But even the strongest look with a black eye pencil and red lipstick is timeless – you think of all time periods, past, present, and future – and that makes beauty what it is today,” explained Pat McGrath.
