L’OCCITANE Malaysia continues its commitment for sustainability and reducing waste with opening of its first Green Store at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The Green Store is designed to be as sustainable as possible, featuring eco-friendly initiative at every corner, including the innovative first “Refill Fountain” and the Instagram-able eco-friendly “Mural Wall”.
The Refill Fountain is a new feature that offers consumers the opportunity to refill selected products in their ‘Forever Bottles’, which are made from long-lasting, lightweight and 100% recyclable aluminium, available in 250ml & 500ml. The Pavilion Bukit Jalil store currently offers refills for five of L’OCCITANE’s essential products:
- Almond Shower Oil
- Verbena Shower Gel
- Shea Verbena Liquid Soap
- Intensive Repair Shampoo
- Intensive Repair Conditioner
Another key highlight is the insta-worthy mural wall that was hand drawn by local mural and sneaker artist, Edna Lee. She painstakingly hand drawn a beautiful snapshot of a small cottage in Provence using environmentally friendly paints. The eco-friendly wall also highlights 500 recycled empties that have been upcycled into beautiful hanging flowers on the wall. These empties were selected from the 1.3 million empties contributed by Malaysian customers through the brand’s BIG LITTLE THINGS Recycling Program.
