Men, you now have an excuse to use makeup because Chanel Beauty is launching its first makeup line called Boy De Chanel that’s catered for guys but we think it’s catered for all genders and it’s dropping in South Korea first on September 1, 2018.
Korean actor, Lee Dong-Wook is fronting the campaign for this collection’s launch in South Korea!
We got a feeling that the reason that Chanel Beauty has decided to release this is because of the Korean wave and K-beauty trend that’s all the rage worldwide. This men-friendly collection is made up of a tinted fluid foundation, coming in four colors; a matte moisturizing lip balm, and four shades of eyebrow pencil.
As for worldwide, it’s launching in November 2018 on the house’s e-commerce platforms and in January 2019 in Chanel’s boutiques.
This is not the first time a beauty brand has created a makeup range for men, Tom Ford Beauty has done it before, as well as some indie brands. But, you can’t help but to be intrigue on how Chanel Beauty is going to pull it off.
Time to prep some space on our vanities for the men.
