Michelle Phan just released her newest addition to the Em Cosmetics line and her holy grail eyeliner pencil, the Matte Gel Pencil just four hours ago! And by the looks of it, it’s going to be a beauty junkie must-have!
The Matte Gel Pencil is created with the perfect blend of the color intensity of the darkest kohl liners and the precision and lasting power of a gel which goes on smooth like a gel liner but dries down as a matte.
The pigmented colour payoff of the Matte Gel Pencil doesn’t put a dent to it super long-wearing and waterproof formula so it’s great for your waterline too! Also, like the rest of her Em Cosmetics line, this eyeliner pencil is cruelty-free and vegan.
The downside is that it’s not automatically twisted so you have to use a cosmetic sharpener once it’s blunt and you’ll have to bring out the big guns (oil-based makeup removers) to remove it. But we’re totally fine with sharpening and oil cleansing if our eyeliner stays in place all day.
