The Dior Addict Lip Tattoo is said to be the first tinted, ephemeral tattoo effect lip ink for Dior with 10-hour wear (longer than the Dior Addict Lacquer Sticks!), comfortable, weightless and no transfer finish formula. Dior is not kidding when they said that ‘the colour fuses with your skin like an ephemeral tattoo for your lips.’ It definitely stains your lips in just seconds of applying. The texture is light as water and it doesn’t clump up even when you add more layers.
One caveat, it’s slightly drying due to its tattoo nature so it’s the best pop on some lip balm before applying the Lip Tattoo to avoid the stain from settling into your lip lines once it’s dry.
My Verdict
My favourite shades out of the six are 761 Natural Cherry and 491 Natural Rosewood, these have great pigmentation and I find these are easier apply compared to the nude and coral shades. According to Peter Philips, 761 Natural Cherry is a universal cherry pink shade that’ll look good on everyone too! As for its long-wearing capabilities, I had steamboat while wearing the 771 Natural Berry shade and after wiping my lips with tissues for a number of times, the stain is still on my lips though not as saturated. If I applied more than 2 layers of the Lip Tattoo, the stain might be more saturated.
