In conjunction with the upcoming festive season, SK-II has dressed its iconic Facial Treatment Essence in a beautifully crafted design inspired by traditional Japanese marbeling, Suminagashi or “floating ink”. The art of Suminagashi was chosen for this festive season for its powerful philosophy which states that there’s no wrong drop, each dot and swirl come together to crate a unique art piece.
This Suminagashi-inspired Festive Facial Treatment Essence was launched yesterday at Mid Valley Megamall Kuala Lumpur, with the attendance of Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Nicholas Teo as special guest, as well as a Japanese master of Suminagashi who was demonstrating live the technique to create the beautiful art of Suminagashi by using simple ink and water.
Containing over 90% Pitera, the signature ingredient in all SK-II products, the Facial Treatment Essence is essential to any skincare regimen, for crystal clear skin throughout the year-end festivities and into the new year. The SK-II Facial Treatment Essence Limited Edition is available in red, blue and green Suminagashi-inspired designs for a limited time only at all SK-II counters nationawide from October 2016.
