Canadian fashion designer, Jason Wu, who is famous for designing the dresses of Michelle Obama, teamed up with Caudalie to design a limited-edition Caudalie Beauty Elixir by giving this cult favourite a sophisticated makeover in his signature black lace.
Wu said, “When thinking about ‘dressing’ the bottle I imagined how I intend to dress the Jason Wu woman, which is about refinement and sophistication.”
Symbolising modern femininity and elegance, the stunning bottle is dressed in a detailed lace inspired by Wu’s 2016 spring/summer collection. Wu then topped it off with a signature light gold top that echoes the hardware on the Jason Wu Diane bag.
The Beauty Elixir is inspired by the ‘elixir of youth’, used by Queen Isabelle of Hungary to smooth features, tightens pores and gives the complexion a burst of radiance. This product is synthetic fragrance-free and does not contain high levels of alcohol, which can strip skin of its natural moisture.
The Caudalie Beauty Elixir Jason Wu Edition is available in limited quantities of 500 bottles in Malaysia at Caudalie Boutique Spa in Bangsar Shopping Centre and selected Sephora stores. It will officially be available August 15 in all stores and on www.kensapothecary.com.my. It retails for RM65 (30ml) and RM195 (100ml).
