In line with its sustainability commitment, innisfree has in collaboration with I’m Jeju, a juice brand that harvests carrots from Gujwa, Jeju Island, to create a “Upcycling Beauty” line from the imperfect carrots that cannot be sold in markets for aesthetic reasons and carrot pulp left after the juicing process.
This Upcycled Carrots Line, contains two hand care products – hair cream and hair soap – which are a timely answer to our day-to-day lives which now feature frequent handwashing.
Hand Cream With Upcycled Carrots
Formulated with a refreshing sherbet texture which melts smoothly into skin, this Hand Cream with Upcycled Carrots (RM28.00/50ml) soothes and moisturises hands without stickiness. It contains carrot water and carrot oil that are rich in vitamins and minerals, creates a moisture barrier to keep your hands moist for a long time.
Hand Soap With Upcycled Carrots
This Hand Soap with Upcycled Carrots (RM48.00/250mi) has a thick, rich foam and contains carrot powder that features a scrubbing effect to exfoliate and remove dirt and dead skin cells from your hands to keep them smooth. It also contains carrot water and carrot oil to hydrate and moisten skin. Furthermore, it has has a mildly acidic formula of pH 5.0 and naturally-derived surfactants from coconuts that leave your skin feeling refreshed after washing.
Besides the launch of the Upcycled Carrots Line, this April, innisfree also released a limited edition No-Sebum Mineral Powder to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of this iconic product.
