Lancôme celebrated its renowned scientific expertise and an unprecedented moment in its history as it launched the new Advanced Génifique serum with Microbiome Science in end of last month at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s Center Court, with a turquoise blue and white themed party created an atmosphere to remember, as guests walked through a Génifique Tunnel at the entrance of the shopping mall leading to the Spanish steps towards the iconic bottles and then into the Génifique journey experience.
According to Chua Sher Le, General Manager of Lancôme, this magnificent serum is the result of the culmination of more than 15 years’worth of discovery, along with 57 clinical trials, more than 300 million data points and 23 external partnerships.
Joselyn Lee, Senior Education Manager also enlightened the guests with a brief presentation on the new product revealing how the new Advanced Génifique is a unique formulation enriched with 7 pre- and probiotic fractions that acts on the skin microbiome to accelerate its recovery from lifestyle and environmental aggressors.
A insightful dialogue session between Sher Lee, Joselyn and two women scientists – Dr. LC Chai of University Malaya and Dr. Norhayati Abdullah of University Teknologi Malaysia, was being held during the launch, which saw the scientists delving deep into the advantages of microbiomes, what they are and how they can help skin in the long run.
