Dr Morita masks are popular because of the amount of research that goes into producing these masks. They use a variety of essences to help combat various skin types, or skin problems – which include, hydrating, whitening, repairing, soothing, and firming.
The Hyaluronic Acid is one of the most popular products due to its high moisturising abilities to help lock moisture all day for firm and supple skin.
First Impressions
Each box comes with 5 pieces and is suitable for all skin types. It contains organic ingredients that effectively reduce the loss of skin’s natural production of hyaluronic acid, thereby making the skin more supple and moisturised. It also contains anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and antioxidant properties and helps in capturing free radicals (which are harmful to our skin and responsible for raging and tissue damage).
It sounds great overall and they recommend using this on a daily basis for best results. I couldn’t wait to give this a try!
Why it’s great
- The transparent and slim mask means it sits on your face really well, and it almost feels like you aren’t wearing anything at all which is extremely comfortable and relaxing. Because it’s so slim, much of the essence goes onto your face (rather than being absorbed into the mask), and you really feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.
- The essence is cooling and that makes it a very enjoyable 15 minute mask in this heat. It feels great on my face and I never want to take it off.
- After 15 minutes, the mask feels drier which is a great sign that the essence is being absorbed into our skin.
- It leaves your skin visibly more moisturised, and as a result your face feels soft and supple. After the first application, I couldn’t stop feeling my skin and I was constantly making faces because it just felt so moisturised and I wasn’t used to it.

Our Verdict
It’s a great product and though I’ve only tried one out of the 12 masks available, I would definitely buy this again. I didn’t use it daily only because I was concerned I might overdo it and I wasn’t sure my sensitive skin could handle it – so instead I did it twice a week and my experience was great!
It’s easy to use and works like any other mask which you apply after you cleanse your face and leave it on for 10 – 15 minutes. Remove, and gently massage the remaining essence into your skin. I followed up with my own moisturiser and voila – all done.
