Sunplay Malaysia introduces the latest addition to its Sunplay series by Rohto Mentholatum, the new Sunplay Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence and Spray, coined as the Beauty Sunscreen for that Insta-Ready look!
The launch was held at The Grounds, MAHSA University where influencers and medias were introduced to the two new beauty sunscreens and got to play with the pastel props inspired by the products themselves.
The Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence and Spray not only offers optimum protection from harmful UV rays, it’s a colour-correcting primer that brings a healthy glow to your skin! Hence, it’s called a beauty sunscreen. Both the essence and spray comes with a lavender tint that help reduce yellow undertones to brighten your skin’s complexion and conceal some imperfections to give you a naturally translucent look that’s Insta-Ready.
These are also preservatives and mineral oil free. It also contains vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, and Pure Nuance Complex for that extra skincare benefit as you shield it from the sun.
Verdict
Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence, RM65.90
The essence is ultra-lightweight and contains Strobe Pearl Powder too which helps to diffuse light for a brighter complexion. There are also really tiny specks of glitter too but it’s not obvious at all. This didn’t leave any white cast on the skin and is fast-absorbing.
Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Spray, RM53.90
As for the spray, I didn’t have to worry about it leaving any sticky feeling on my skin because my skin felt smooth after spraying this on. The spray was a fine mist that felt nice on the skin and didn’t make my makeup budge. Great for spraying on hard to reach areas and though the lavender tint on the spray was not as apparent compared to the essence, this is good for sun protection touch ups throughout the day since we should reapply sunscreen every few hours.
