Since we’re surrounded by pollutants all the time, the Pure Beauty Pomegranate Urban Shield range sounds like the perfect skincare for us to protect our skin. So we’re testing the Pure Beauty Pomegranate Urban Shield’s Clarifying Foaming Cleanser, Reviving Serum, and Protective Day Lotion SPF20 to see how it fares.

Clarifying Foaming Cleanser, RM35.90 (150ml)
This foaming cleanser purifies your skin, removes impurities and all traces of pollution while restoring your skin’s moisture barrier over time.
The foam was not very dense and the pump was easy to use. After using the cleanser, my skin felt clean without the uncomfortable ‘tight’ feeling that sometimes we get from harsh cleansers.
Reviving Serum, RM69.90 (35ml)
This lightweight serum penetrates deep into your skin to replenish and repair damaged skin to improve your skin tone to a glowing, youthful complexion.
Yay for the pump bottle because it keeps things hygienic and convenient. I warmed the serum with my palms befoe gently patting it on my face in an upward motion.
Protective Day Lotion SPF20, RM59.90 (50ml)
The Protective Day Lotion SPF20 provides all day hydration and protection while revitalizing tired skin and helps to smoothen fine lines and wrinkles too.
The texture of the lotion is fast-absorbing, light and not sticky so you will like this!
My Verdict
My skin felt much softer and hydrated after using these products. I love the Protective Day Lotion cause it’s 2-in-1, I don’t have to put another layer of sunblock before putting on my makeup. I looked much more ‘awake’ since my complexion is brighter too! Also, the packaging is adorable with pink ombre tones and the outline of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline at the bottom.
