As male grooming trends have evolved in recent years, Kiehl’s is expanding its offerings with the introduction of Grooming Solutions, a line of expertly crafted men’s grooming products to meet the need for efficacious products to groom and style beards and hair.
The Grooming Solutions line incorporates two very special ingredients: Pracaxi Oil and Moroccan Lava Clay. While the Pracaxi Oil is found in each of the six products, the Moroccan Lava Clay is unique to the Texturizing Clay. Pracaxi Oil is derived from the seeds of Pentaclethra Macroloba tree found in the Amazon rainforest. The oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids Oleic Acid and Linoleic Acid, but what makes it unique is the high concentration of very long chain saturated fatty acids (VLSFA) like Behenic Acid, which, in our formulas, coats the hair and provides a nourishing effect. Moroccan Lava Clay has been renowned throughout history for its use in skincare and its benefits in pulling out oil and impurities. In our formula, Moroccan Lava Clay helps shape and texturize the hair.
The range also offers an aromatic experience, achieved through an infusion of Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Eucalyptus essential oils, that provide a fresh feel upon application, and dry down to reveal woodsy notes.
Kiehl’s Malaysia will only be offering 3 products out of the six-piece range essential in Malaysia at the moment and will be bringing Creative Cream Wax to Malaysia in 2018.
1. Nourishing Shampoo + Conditioner (RM100/250ml)
The two-in-one shampoo and conditioner generates a creamy lather to gently clean hair and remove build-up, and is suitable to all hair types. The formula smoothes and conditions the hair, leaving it with a soft, touchable feel and full, healthy look. Hair feels nourished and the scalp is left feeling hydrated and refreshed. The formula is paraben and sulfate free, with a woodsy aroma obtained by a blend of essential oils.
2. Texturizing Clay (RM90/50ml)
The Texturizing Clay defines, shapes and texturizes hair, with a flexible long-lasting hold. This formula, with Moroccan Lava Clay, adds body without weighing down hair, leaving a matte finish and rinses cleanly from hair.
How to use clay:
Step 1: Rub a small amount of the product between your pals until melted
Step 2: Work evenly through dry or damp hair
Step 3: Style as desired for stronger hold, repeat application
3. Clean Styling Gel (RM90/150ml)
A non-greasy, flake-free lightweight styling gel that provides a lasting hold and natural-looking shine. Comb it up or slick it back.
How to use gel:
Step 1: Rub a dime to quarter-sized amount into hands
Step 2: Disperse through wet or dry hair with your fingers or comb
