Over 1,000 participants from all walks are expected to join the #Obese2Beast Fun Walk organized by a newly formed student-led NGO made up of a group of MBA students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia called the Persatuan Sihat Sejahtera (The Backbenchers) on 28th January 2018. The group intends, to spread awareness of the alarming rate of obesity in Malaysia and to encourage the society to be back on track through fun activities.
Led by Aaron Dason and his team, the #Obese2Beast Fun Walk aims to raise funds for UNICEF Malaysia to fight against obesity among children in Malaysia. Over 1,000 participants are targeted to participate in the fun walk. 28th January 2018 at 6:00 a.m. (flagging off at 7:15 a.m.)
