Engineered to provide full support and unbeatable performance, HOVR is a type of cushioning platform that is crafted from a proprietary foam compound – a footwear innovation in partnership with leading innovators Dow Chemical. With every step taken, a super-soft durometer with incredible cushioning and shock absorption take charge. A third cushioning platform in the Under Armour’s family, this smart technology delivers energy return and shock absorption instantly to the runner.
One of the highlights of the HOVR technology is the ‘Energy Web’ – a comprehensive mesh web surrounding a cushioning core that helps by retaining the midsole’s shape and project strong responsiveness and energy return. By absorbing some of the shock in each stride, HOVR removes the unnecessary impact that normally goes to the body, allowing your feet to relax and prepare for the road ahead.
