Global nutrition company Herbalife recently released the findings from their ‘Millennials at Work’1 survey conducted across the Asia Pacific region which revealed that 53% of Malaysian millennials cited the lack of time is the main obstacle to exercise or stretch at work compared with 49% of non-millennials.

Conducted across 11 countries with 500 respondents from Malaysia, the survey focuses on the lifestyle habits of the millennial generation. The survey also revealed that:

  • Malaysian millennials and the older generation strive to live a healthy, active life, both polling at 60%. However, 61% of Malaysian millennials find it difficult to stay active during the workday in comparison with their older counterparts that polled at 46%.
  • 66% of Malaysian millennials are more encouraged to stay active if physical activity was part of the company’s culture, compared to 57% of non-millennials.

Aimed at deepening practical understanding on the importance of adopting a healthy and active lifestyle, Herbalife organized the sixth Asia-Pacific Wellness Tour. The latest Tour features five Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board (NAB) experts visiting 21 Asia-Pacific cities from 7th to 29th October 2016.

They will be sharing their views on health-related topics, including weight management, brain health and aging, metabolism, sports medicine, sports science and nutrition at medical symposiums, talks and workshops. The experts will also offer advice on how millennials can adopt simple positive nutrition and lifestyle habits at work to improve their overall well-being in the long run.
