Getting into a new K-drama is an insane experience. You laugh, cry, get attached to Oppa or Unnie. You are not in the mood to do anything but find out what is going to happen next, you can’t think of anything besides the drama.
If you can relate to any of the scenarios listed below, then chances are, you are a Korean drama addict.
1. Most of the Korean dramas release two episodes a week, and a week is a very long time. So what do you do while waiting for the next episode? You stalk the cast, try to find out news about BTS footage, the cast, etc.
2. After some sleuthing and stalking, you started to know the actors a little bit more (or way more than before!). You are able to name every drama, film or even advertisement your faves have been in. If they happen to be endorsing any brands, most likely you will purchase the product.
3. You persuade your family and friends to watch the drama, by telling them how good is the storyline and how good looking the cast are.
4. You begin to get emotionally attached to your favourite character and use their photo as your desktop wallpaper.
4. Real life is no longer real and you believe you live in the drama.
5. Your passionate hatred for the antagonist is scaringly real.
6. You are more happy and excited about your favourite couple getting together than anything else.
7. and when they finally kiss.
8. And when the drama ends. You feel empty inside, thinking to watch that ending again. Or watch the entire drama AGAIN. As a result, you look up other dramas the actors have been in.
