British global luxury brand Burberry and leading global messaging platform LINE have released a short animated film featuring some of the fashion industry’s best known names alongside Brown and Cony – LINE’s most popular characters.
Launching on LINE, the animated film follows Brown and Cony on their journey to London as they take their front row seats at the Burberry Prorsum show. Once at the show the characters are joined by Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue and Artistic Director of Condé Nast Anna Wintour, British model and actress Cara Delevingne, world renowned photographer Mario Testino, and Burberry’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey.
The animation is the latest chapter in the partnership between Burberry and LINE, the fastest growing global messaging platform with more than 180m active monthly users. Earlier this month, Burberry announced a global brand partnership with LINE that will also offer Japanese users access to a live stream of the upcoming Women’s show on Monday 23rd February at 1pm using LINE LIVE CAST functionality, in order to allow users to watch the show in real time.
In addition to the animation and the live stream, Burberry and LINE have collaborated to create a set of Brown and Cony digital stickers, with both characters dressed in iconic made in England Burberry trench coats and cashmere check scarves, designed for LINE, and featuring in the animated film. These stickers are available to Japanese LINE users.
