Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie who played Jon Snow and Ygritte on the medieval fantasy epic are now married. The ceremony took place at Rayne Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland followed by a reception at Leslie’s ancestral castle.
Leslie arrived hand-in-hand with her father Sebastian Leslie, wearing an understated long-sleeved dress layered with lace and a beautiful flower crown underneath her veil.
Co-stars Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams as well as Jack Donnelly and his partner, Malin Akerman, were among the ones in attendance.
Harington and Leslie, both 31, who have dated for several years announced their engagement last September in The Times of London newspaper.
Harington talked about the proposal on Britain’s “The Jonathan Ross Show” saying, “I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff, but we were in the country and we were sort of under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine and … I popped my question a bit early.”
