Everyone can’t seem to stop talking about Lady Gaga’s performance during the Oscars this year.
The talented and eccentric singer once again proves that she’s more than just those outrageous outfits and her outspoken personality by taking the stage with a live performance of a medley of songs from our all-time favourite classic– The Sound of Music.
The performance was also to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of the iconic film, hence feature a medley of “The Sound of Music”, “Do Re Mi”, “Edelweiss”, and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”.
Lady Gaga’s show-stopping performance also featured an introduction by Scarlett Johansson, as well as a special appearance by Julie Andrews who was more than pleased with Gaga’s rendition of her classic hits.
Gaga’s performance came as a pleasant surprise after her much-criticized red-carpet appearance earlier on of the evening donning what many described as ‘dishwashing gloves’.
