Resorts World Genting has unveiled its new cinema dubbed PictureHouse Cinema. For those who have been to the United Kingdom, Picturehouse Cinemas is a network of cinemas in the UK, operated by Picturehouse Cinemas Ltd and owned by Cineworld.
The PictureHouse Cinema has 4 halls which 3 of them are already opened to the public. Each hall rooms come with 170 state-of-art seats to ensure maximum comfort and are equipped with the Dolby Atmos sound system which has been called as the “next generation audio for cinema”.
The seats in all the halls are divided into three categories namely the Premium seats, the front row Executive seats, and the middle section.
The Premium seats are situated towards the back of the hall and said to provide maximum comfort with “its ergonomic design and innovative sliding system”. The tickets for the Premium seats cost RM22 and it comes with a combo set of popcorn, a snack and a drink.
Next is the front row Executive seats. People who love going to the cinema often avoid the front seats unless they don’t have a choice. Well they needn’t worry anymore as PictureHouse Cinema’s front row executive seats here, however, come with powered reclining and footrest operations. That means you can lean back comfortably, put your feet up and enjoy the movie without straining your neck.
