Solo artist, Uriah See is back with his new digital single, “Now Or Never”!
Going on a completely different concept from his previous image, “Now Or Never” is a track that carries a powerful pop, electronic dance music theme, choreographed by Kim Eun Ju, who’s also a dance trainer for well-known artists from JYP Entertainment, YMC Entertainment, Jellyfish Entertainment and more.
During his hiatus period, he had undergone intense dance training in South Korea to gear up for his comeback. This is also his very first attempt to make a comeback with such strong vocal concept alongside an exciting and trendy choreography.
His agency IM Entertainment had released a total of 3 teasers to the public starting from 21 May 2018. The teasers consist of 2 images and 1 video with 3 different concepts applied to each teaser; Awaken, Evolving, and Rebirth, each represent the phases he had gone through during the preparation for his comeback.
The mysterious teasers without additional information had aroused the curiosity and had caught the attention of the fans as well the media. Some speculated it to be one of the current famous idol groups in China, Nine Percent and Awaken-F.
Prior to his comeback, Uriah had released his very first K-pop song cover, a mash-up
version of TWICE’s TT and Likey as a surprise for his fans who have been anticipating
his comeback.
Before revealing the song to the public, Uriah sent the demo to his trainer in Korea to ensure his pronunciation is precise and clear. Initially, Uriah was concerned and worried about how the public is going to think about the song cover. However, upon releasing the video on his Facebook page, the post was flooded with numerous positive comments and the video had achieved over 25,000 of views within few days. Uriah is considering covering more Korean songs in future upon his followers’ requests.
You can listen to Uriah’s latest song “Now Or Never” on all (Chinese) radio stations in Malaysia from 29 May 2018 onwards. Besides that, “Now Or Never” will be available on selected music streaming applications beginning from 1 June 2018.
