MINI Malaysia has officially introduced the New MINI Family, marking a significant step towards a more sustainable future. The highly anticipated launch event unveiled four new models, all embodying the brand’s fresh design language, “Charismatic Simplicity.”
The New MINI Family boasts two fully electric models, the New MINI Cooper SE and the New MINI Countryman SE ALL4. This bold move signifies MINI’s commitment to emission-free urban mobility.
MINI Cooper SE
Making its Malaysian debut, the New MINI Cooper SE is the latest addition to the iconic electric MINI lineup. It retains the classic MINI charm with a modern twist. Here’s a closer look:
- Puristic Design: The octagonal front grille houses the smallest radar sensor among all BMW Group models, while the LED headlights with high-beam assistant offer selectable light signatures with unique welcome/goodbye animations.
Athletic Stance: Short overhangs and a long wheelbase create a dynamic silhouette. Taut surfaces and defined shoulders contribute to a more muscular look. - Charismatic Simplicity: Flush door openers and the absence of traditional side trims reflect the brand’s new design philosophy.

- Electrifying Performance: The New MINI Cooper SE delivers 218 hp and 330 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. A 54.2 kWh battery provides a range of 387 to 402 km on a single charge.
MINI Countryman SE ALL4
The New All-Electric MINI Countryman SE ALL4 represents MINI’s leap into the electric vehicle market with style and sustainability. It boasts a robust design with increased dimensions compared to its predecessors, offering spaciousness and comfort ideal for both urban and off-road adventures. Equipped with MINI’s signature ALL4 All-Wheel Drive and advanced safety features, it combines environmental consciousness with performance, featuring a 313 hp electric motor and a 66.5 kWh battery providing up to 432 km of range. Its interior blends modern technology with a feel-good atmosphere, showcasing sustainable materials and innovative digital displays.

The New MINI JCW Countryman ALL4 embodies performance and sportiness in the MINI lineup. With a distinctive JCW Trim that includes sporty design elements and powerful performance attributes, it offers a dynamic driving experience. Powered by a 300 hp engine and equipped with adaptive suspension and sporty brakes, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, achieving a top speed of 250 km/h. The JCW Countryman features a sporty interior with JCW-specific detailing, ensuring a thrilling driving experience combined with MINI’s iconic design and craftsmanship.
MINI Cooper S
The New MINI Cooper S continues the legacy of classic MINI charm fused with modern technology and performance. Powered by a 204 hp engine and featuring agile handling dynamics, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, with a top speed of 242 km/h. All models within the New MINI Family come equipped with comprehensive driver assistance systems, including Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assistant Plus, and much more. The New MINI Operating System 9 delivers a user-friendly experience, featuring a new interface, a digitalised MINI Interaction Unit, and the MINI Intelligent Personal Assistant for voice-controlled features. Colour Options
The New MINI Family offers a variety of models and colours to suit individual preferences.
