22-year-old professional model Samantha Katie James was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2017 last week. She also won the subsidiary title Miss Tsubaki Crowning Glory and was chosen as the face of Ash Be Nimble and La Juiceria.
Discovered as a model when she was 17, Samantha has walked the runways Internationally, appeared in TV advertisements, and acted in an Indonesian and Chinese film production. This is Samantha’s second attempt at the Miss Universe Malaysia competition, as she was previously a finalist of the Miss Universe Malaysia 2013 pageant.
In honour to her winning, we are looking at her impeccable lipstick game and we are totally besotted by her lip look she wore at the gala night. Luckily, we managed to get in contact with the Miss Universe Malaysia Organizaton team (MUMO) and they were kind enough to share with us her winning weapons.
1. During the earlier round for gala: Nudestix Magnetic Matte Lip Color in “Tame” + “Capri”. The colour is created by mixing the two lip colours together.
2. Before the crowning. Kat Von D Berlin Everlasting Liquid Lipstick.
3. Interview with New Straits Times: Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in 22. Our favourite among all.
The Chinese-Brazilian professional model with 170 cm tall succeeded Kiran Jassal and will now represent Malaysia at the Miss Universe 2017.
