New York Fashion Week 2015 has entered its final day since the opening on last Thursday, September 10 (NY time). Almost 70 fashion shows have been showcased by the international top fashion brands in the past few days, featuring their newest creations for Spring/Summer 2016.
The one-week New York Fashion Week 2015 has witnessed the emergence of Asian or Asian-American designers in the international fashion arena as they are presenting 16 out of 72 official fashion shows at the New York Fashion Week 2015, up from 13 shows the previous year.
Besides the prominent ones such as Alexander Wang, Zang Toi, Anna Sui, Tadashi Shoji, Son Jung Wan, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu and Derek Lam, new designers like native New Yorkers Dao-Yi Chow, who created label “Public School” together with Maxwell Osborne, and Korean-German-American designer Max Osterweis who is SUNO designer are also presenting their latest Spring/Summer 2016 creations on the runway of New York Fashion Week 2015.
