An iconic German brand since 1774, BIRKENSTOCK will be taking a bold new step in its expansion plans by celebrating the grand opening of its new store at Malaysia’s iconic landmark, Suria KLCC on April 19th, 2017 at 11am.
Located on the third floor, the new store will be showcasing a wide range of premium, high-quality footwear comprising of more than 150 models and designs. Fans of the brand will find a wide assortment of BIRKENSTOCK timeless classics and trendy sandals for women, men and kids.
The design of the new BIRKENSTOCK store implements the global store concept that was introduced in 2015. Inside the store, high quality, sustainably sourced natural materials which include leather, natural cork, and wool felt – which are reflected in the shoes and sandals, were carefully selected to bring out the best of the brand. Cork and leather edging adorns the side walls, serving as a reminder of the origin of this traditional company – in other words, the footbed that was invented by a German shoemaking dynasty whose roots go back to 1774.
For over the centuries, BIRKENSTOCK has built up a wealth of experience that it has cultivated and passed down from one generation to the next. The brand continues to create products that make the lives of its customers better and richer with its unique products and anatomically shaped footbed. BIRKENSTOCK invented the footbed and has also shaped the meaning of the term “footbed”, which is so common today. The footbed is not only a unique, revolutionary product concept that paved the way for a completely new market.

In conjunction with the celebration of the grand opening of BIRKENSTOCK Suria KLCC Store, the first 100 customers who queue up on grand opening day will receive Birkenstock shopping vouchers worth RM100, valid on April 19th, the day of the grand opening only.
BIRKENSTOCK Suria KLCC Store will be located at Lot 309, Level 3. Opening hours are from 10.00am to 10.00pm daily.
