The iconic Britney Spears is the new face of KENZO’s La Collection Memento N°2 denim-focused campaign and collection. Anyone remember her full-on denim getup with her ex Justin Timberlake?
Mainly focusing on denim, the collection was inspired by the 1986 Paris runway debut of KENZO Jeans with a reverent grasp on the codes of label founder Kenzo Takada, a more esoteric theme of “Icons” where KENZO motifs (the tiger, The Great Wave of Kanagawa) are scattered on each piece of the collection.
The campaign was shot by legendary photographer, Peter Lindbergh, whose British Vogue cover of Linda, Naomi, Cindy, Tatiana and Christy ignited the age of the supermodel and has also shot Kenzo Takada’s historical campaigns for the brand.
Lindbergh captured Britney in all her American Dream glory and beauty as she plays coy, it’s the perfect combination for KENZO – La Collection Memento N°2. From cropped jumpers to denim jackets and caps in KENZO’s signature tiger motif, it’s a fun collection that’s Spring appropriate.
The KENZO – La Collection Memento N°2 will be available at kenzo.com, in KENZO stores globally and at KENZO partner stores from 21st March.
