Born to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the House of Herrera, the Carolina Herrera Insignia Project brought the house to create a new signature monogram based on an already iconic bracelet which provided the inspiration for an accessories collection such as the Insignia Bag to be a permanent fixture.
A delicate and unique design whose distinctive feature is a metal handle based on the original bracelet and plated in silver, gold or ruthenium to give it character. Its rigid geometric form is achieved by incorporating a wooden case into its structure, a proper characteristic of classic jewelers and which serves to connect the jewelry collection to the bag’s concept. This handcrafted wooden support is just the first step of seventy-six operations that the expert hands of craftsmen carried out in their atelier in Spain.
A minor work of art in which all details are carefully studied, from its lamb skin lined interior to its removable adjustable chain or leather strap, offering a wide range of possibilities suitable for any occasion. The Insignia Bag is available in three sizes and thirteen different colors, prints and engraved finishes in Denver, Goltier and Nappa leathers.
The Insignia Project has chosen 9 ambassadors who are unique and is the epitome of House of Herrera to bring the Insignia bag to life.
