MR-G, one of Casio G-Shock Premium collection marked 20th anniversary this year, and its celebration in Malaysia was commemorated at Cortina Watch boutique in Fahrenheit 88, with the launch of a limited watch collection MRG-G1000HT in the presence of the Father and Creator of the iconic G-SHOCK, Mr. Kikuo Ibe.
With a limited run of 300 watches worldwide, the MRG-G1000HT was designed in collaboration with a third-generation master artisan in the field, Bihou Asano, using the Japanese tsuiki technique; a traditional craft method that creates unique relief patterns through hammering. The tsuiki method has been used to create parts of the Japanese Railway, Bullet Train and Flying Machines.
The MTG-G1000AR and the new FROGMAN GWF-D1000 diver’s watch, a new addition to its G-SHOCK line of shock-resistant watches, were also showcased at the boutique. The MTG-G1000AR is finished with Rose-Gold Aged Ion Plating, and equipped with an Advanced Timekeeping System that receives both GPS and Radio Wave Time-Calibration Signals. The FROGMAN GWF-D-1000-1 shock-resistant diver’s watch is equipped with triple sensors and is designed to withstand the toughest of underwater missions with Atmospheric Pressure, Temperature, and Magnetic Sensors.
The Limited Edition Hammer Tone MRG-G1000HT retails at RM26,699, the MTG-G1000AR retails at RM7,499 and the new FROGMAN GWF-D1000 and GWF-D1000B-1 retails at RM4,699 and RM4,999 respectively.
