Casio celebrates the 40th anniversary of G-SHOCK with the release of four REMASTER BLACK watches. These timepieces pay homage to milestone G-SHOCK models by featuring a band imprinted with their names and launch years.
Out of the 4,200 models launched, Casio selected 49 to represent the brand’s innovative advancements in structure, function, materials, and design. The band impresses the model names using a hot-stamping process, creating a textured, indented effect. The watches are designed in G-SHOCK brand black with a gold-coloured stainless steel band loop.
Based on popular models like the DW-5600 and GA-110, the collection also includes the DWE-5657RE, which offers an interchangeable round bezel for versatile looks. Engravings of the anniversary logo and star accents add a special touch. The bezel and band use bio-based resins for reduced environmental impact, while the modules offer a high-brightness LED backlight and a five-year battery life.
The collection has been available from June 2023 at Casio stores.
