French ready-to-wear and leather luxury goods brand, CELINE opened its first new concept store, a duplex store encompassing 316 sq.m, in Malaysia at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last week. The new store that houses the latest from the fashion house including its women’s ready-to-wear, signature leather goods and accessories, features a fine architectural concept, elegant and modern, designed by Hedi Slimane, the Artistic director of CELINE.
Located at Lot 2.18.00 & 3.20.00, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, The new CELINE concept store features a juxtaposition of finest materials to create a balanced and expansive sculptural interior, where natural stones – basaltina, ginger and cream-veined black granite, grigio carnico, grand antique marble and grey travertine – are used to complement with reclaimed oak, concrete, polished stainless steel, brass and gold mirror.
Bespoke brutalist furnitures designed by Hedi Slimane, act as sculptural typologies to complement the overall polished and sleek architecture.The new store will also feature a bronze sculpture, entitled ‘L’ELAN’ by an internationally acclaimed artist, Hedva Ser.
