Christian Louboutin has just unveiled new signature designs to add to his Autumn/Winter 16 capsule collection. But the designer’s latest project has nothing to do with heels.
Inspired by the most magical fairytale of all, Cinderella, and the pillow that the beauty’s glass slipper was presented, the French luxury fashion brand released three new versions of its Piloutin clutch.
Each new design (the Piloutin Maharaja, Piloutin Spikes and Piloutin Strass) comes with a distinct embellishments, including spiked cheetah print, ombré, and a brocade-like pattern, adding a luxe, statement finish to the familiar rectangular shape. “The whole idea of this is that it’s almost a pillow, a little cushion you can sleep with – it’s the bag you want to cuddle,” said the designer himself.
