Coach showcases Stuart Vevers’ Winter 2023 collection, a continuation of his interpretation of Coach’s American heritage influenced by youth counterculture. The collection introduces “The Lil Nas X Drop,” featuring pieces curated by Lil Nas X himself, inspired by his expressive approach to style as a Coach ambassador.
Embracing individuality, the Winter 2023 collection blends leatherware with underground party references and incorporates reimagined materials. It presents a fusion of American archetypes like leather biker jackets and shearling coats with acid graphics, electric colours, and rave culture-inspired tees, sweatshirts, and bags. The range also includes re-contextualised versions of the archival Bonnie Cashin leopard print, as well as “little black dresses” that merge romantic and grunge aesthetics.
Collaborating with Lil Nas X, Vevers personalised select pieces, including shearling coats, concert merch-inspired graphics, and a customised American varsity jacket. Sustainability remains a focus, with repurposed materials and upcycled processes, such as reimagined pre-consumer garments and the Coach (Re)Loved boot featuring repurposed Coach bags.
To showcase the collection, Coach opted for a mirror selfie look-book taken by its Coach Family at the Park Avenue Armory, emphasising personal expression and individual perspectives on the collection.
