FashionValet is celebrating this successful year with the launch of its new physical store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur! Second in Malaysia, third in the South East Asian region, the new FashionValet store houses the most products with over 40 brands from fashion to leather goods and even body care products.
Measuring at 2,358 sqft, the new store is strategically located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, nestled among the top designer boutiques at Unit 4.20 & 4.21, Level 4, Pavilion Shopping Mall.
The FashionValet Pavilion store mimics the Bangsar Village II counterpart where the chic interior evokes a friendly and warm atmosphere through the use of gold and blush hues. Upon entering the store, customers are greeted with a sea of colourful merchandises, consisting of the latest and hottest fashion apparels and accessories, waiting to be bought on a whim. On the left, iMacs are placed in a corner for customers to browse through the website should any sizes or designs be unavailable in store. There is also a comfortable couch area in the middle of the store for tired husbands to rest while the wives explore the myriad of fabulous products on display. Five fitting rooms are built within the store to accommodate a large number of shoppers that will crowd this shopping paradise.
“We initially resisted the idea of selling offline, but the demand from customers was too overwhelming. We understand that our customers want to touch, feel and try on the clothes before purchasing. Although Malaysian e-commerce is growing rapidly, the requests for a physical store is still great as Malaysians are hesitant about the uncertainty of buying online,” commented Vivy Yusof, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of FashionValet.
“Furthermore, we feel that it is a good opportunity to further promote our website as an online store championing Asian brands and to gain awareness offline. The stores aim to preview what the website has to offer so customers can comfortably make online purchases should they wish to in the future. The stores also serve the purpose of a place to showcase Asian brands where FashionValet is known to be a proud supporter. By bringing these brands offline, more people can see the quality and workmanship with their own eyes,” continued Vivy.
In conjunction with the grand launch, guests were treated to a fashion presentation featuring Thavia, an upcoming clothing label owned by Malaysia’s top fashionista, Tengku Chanela Jamidah.
In addition, the guests also get to enjoy a 20% off discount shopping spree on all items. As always, FashionValet has partnered with prestigious modelling agency, AndrewsModels Malaysia with the generosity of their Founder, Mr. Andrew Tan by providing their expertise in models and choreography. Other sponsors include Miko Galere for hair styling and Ronasutra for makeup.
Opened from 10am-10pm daily, FashionValet hopes that their Pavilion branch will be able to cater to a wider audience of women and convenience those already familiar with the brand with an option between a city and a suburban branch (Bangsar).
