Following a successful collaboration with Balmain, H&M is gearing up for their upcoming Kenzo X H&M drop. The collaboration does not release until this year November, but the hip Swedish fashion has revealed a sneak-peak from the collection to whet everyone’s palates.
Instead of appointing celebrities or models, the H&M x Kenzo collection is fronted by a group of young activists and artists, including activist Amy Sall, artist and poet Juliana Huxtable, musician Oko Ebombo, and makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench.
Based on the released images, we can expect bold-coloured pieces with striking animal prints, such as bright tiger-striped leggings, contrasting boots, and tops with leather gloves — a staple of Kenzo designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon signature design aesthetic.
When news of the collaboration was confirmed few months ago, the design duo mentioned that they wanted to “think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of Kenzo to everyone around the world.”
The collection will be available in over 250 selected H&M stores worldwide, as well as online, from November 3. For more information, visit www.HM.com/magazine.
