Two weeks ago, the Gardens Mall launched the newly revamped rooftop on the 6th floor, bringing together local curators of arts and bespoke fashion to satiate shoppers who are looking for lifestyle and fashion needs.
The launch was a night of “Bright Lights in the City” as The Gardens Mall celebrated a fusion of art and fashion by showcasing the latest additions including a ‘life and style’ store, The Studio; celebrated photography studio MunKeat Photography, bespoke bridal gown designer Celest Thoi, luxury event planner theOccasions Eventeur of Les Suites; world-class art gallery – Wei-Ling Contemporary; and The Gardens Theatre.
Malaysia’s largest contemporary art gallery, Wei-Ling Contemporary exhibited Ivan Lam’s art vending machine and Mun Kao’s “painstallation” which featured a bicycle connected to a painting of a galloping horse.
A specially curated fashion show by The Studio electrified the air in style with the latest fashion line-up from local designers Khoon Hooi, Cassey Gan, Nerd Unit and Bremen Wong Millinery by White.
Les Suites, the one-stop centre for luxurious bespoke wedding experiences, puts guests in the mood for wedding bells. Guests were treated to a crash course on film photography by MunKeat Photography, while theOccasions Eventeur presented their spring flower collection with a special flower arrangement service. Bridal gown designer, Celest Thoi collaborated with By Terry make-up and home-grown jeweller Selberan to showcase their respective latest designs and bespoke options to cover three of the most important components of a gorgeous bride; the dress, jewellery, and make-up.
The party saw over 200 guests from fashion representatives, socialites and public figures enjoying the evening hopping from one space to the other and taking in all the sights that the rooftop had to offer with an Absolut vodka cocktail in hand.
