In celebration of National Handbag Day on October 10, American fashion house Kate Spade New York has put together some of the key silhouettes from its latest Fall 2020 collection.
The brand favourite, Nicola, returns in a micro version. It may be smaller in size, but it’s even bigger on function. Use the chain strap to carry it as a crossbody, detach it to convert it into a clutch or use the loops at the back to slide it onto another handbag strap or belt.
The Remedy, a small top handle style inspired by a doctor bag with a frame closure, spade padlock, optional crossbody strap and polka dot lining, is the quick fix to every outfit in need of a finishing touch. The convenient hinged frame closure allows for easy access to all your things. Whether in printed nylon, pebble leather or faux fur, there’s a Remedy for everyone.
Toujours (french for always), available in medium and large styles, is the bag you’ll carry tous les jours (that’s french for everyday). The interlocking spades are inspired by the celtic infinity symbol – It’s a forever bag. Unclip them to expand the size of the satchel when you need a little extra room.
