One-for-one shoe brand TOMS has released its own lineup of Apple Watch bands that allow you to give time through solar light called ‘TOMS for Apple Watch’.
Each purchase of a Toms for Apple Watch band is set to supply one year of solar light to a person in need.
TOMS for Apple Watch do more than just make a personal style statement; they make a difference by helping bring solar lights to people who need them the most. About 1.2 billion people lack access to safe and reliable electricity, which negatively affects their income, health and well-being.
“With our new TOMS for Apple Watch band, we will not only help provide light, but we will be positively impacting education, economic opportunity, health and safety for so many people who desperately need it,” says Mycoskie in the brand statement.
TOMS for Apple Watch bands are available in two different styles and several colourways.
The Utility Collection (RM 259), a classic look designed for travel and adventure, features premium, durable grosgrain fabric strap and genuine leather detailing.
The Artisan Collection (RM 359), inspired by TOMS Founder Blake Mycoskie’s collection of friendship bracelets from around the world, features woven fabric and genuine leather backing.
The watch bands are currently for sale at TOMS stores nationwide and online through its website.
