Hosted by TV personality and former Miss World Malaysia Nadia Heng (@nadiaheng), VIP guests were treated to a four- course gourmet dinner by Quivo; an open gentlemen’s bar run by Pernod Ricard which served up glasses of Glenlivet whisky, Perrier-Jouët champagne and Martell cognac; and live tunes by six-piece indie pop band Fazz. Among the many high points of the night were also intimate cocktail-making sessions led by Martell ambassador Pierre Boyer, which paid tribute to the exacting craftsmanship of Swiss watchmakers that F.A. Jones had set out to discover back in 1868.
The star of the show came in the form of IWC’s new limited-edition Jubilee collection, which guests had the opportunity to discover up close. On display were exquisitely handcrafted references such as the Portugieser Perpetual Calendar Edition “150 Years”, the Da Vinci Automatic Edition “150 Years” and, most impressively, the award-winning IWC Tribute to Pallweber Edition “150 Years”, which spanned five years in technical development.
In addition to IWC’s 150th birthday, the night’s celebrations also marked a special milestone as the brand’s boutique at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur opened in partnership with Swiss Watch Gallery turns 10.
