The stunning supermodel Karlie Kloss is now the new face of the brilliance and glamour brand, Swarovski, to embody the brand’s signature sparkle throughout the world. The Creative Director of Swarovski, Nathalie Colin explained that Karlie Kloss has everything that the brand stands for – beauty, modernity, freshness, self-confidence, elegance and spontaneity.
“It’s an honor join the Swarovski family and to be part of the brand’s long history of bringing elegance to women through brilliant, unique designs,” said Kloss.
Kloss is so much more than a supermodel – she’s a fashion and lifestyle inspiration, a savvy digital personality with the Klossy YouTube channel, the brains behind the Kode With Karlie scholarship and a philanthropist business woman with Karlie’s Kookies.
To open up this new chapter together, Karlie and Swarovski created a quirky video unveiled on social media channels including YouTube and Instagram, which lets Karlie’s personality really shine. The supermodel is captured in a natural and casual mood, getting familiar with how to pronounce the name of the brand, one of web users’ most frequently asked questions.
Swarovski’s New ‘Be Brilliant’ Campaign
Swarovski also launched its new ‘Be Brilliant’ campaign, a creative exploration of how Swarovski helps women to light up the world and to feel irresistible on any occasion. Starring new brand ambassador Karlie Kloss, and shot by British photographer Craig McDean, the campaign is a natural evolution for Swarovski and a true reflection of the brand expression.
“The ‘Be Brilliant’ campaign is about celebrating the special moments in life, from the extraordinary to the everyday. The pieces in the collection allow women everywhere to shine a little bit brighter, no matter what the occasion,” said Kloss.
Starting in Fall/Winter 2016, the ‘Be Brilliant’ campaign captures a ‘day in a life’ through a variety of versatile looks, from everyday chic to high glamour. Set in New York City at glittering venue The Top of the Standard at the Standard High Line Hotel, the story features Kloss in stylish transition throughout the season.
Swarovski will also engage its fans further with videos designed exclusively for social media platforms where the first video will see Karlie struggling with the pronunciation of Swarovski, a fresh and fun shift in the way the brand communicates. Other videos will take the form of playful tutorials starring Karlie exploring Swarovski’s different facets.
