FashionValet #IAMHOMEGROWN
Malaysia’s own Southeast Asia’s online destination, FashionValet, was the first to unveil their collection, #IAMHOMEGROWN, a movement that champions Malaysian talents in Fashion and Creative Industry. Streetstyle basics like T-shirt, sweatshirt, leggings and even kids romper are stamped with slogan #IAMHOMEGROWN to showcase Malaysian pride, available both in black and white colourway for easy mix and match.
Fashion Forward Ready-to-Wear Batik Kelantan
Bringing forth designs by six budding fashion designers namely Fiqbah, Roy Xun, Ter Mei Ching, Seza Zulkeple, Loh Teik Lim and Syamil Fazwan under the newly Fashion Forward Ready-to-Wear: Batik Kelantan segment, models are clad in modern renditions of the nation’s heritage motif. Gone were the days where batik is only seen on formal shirts and sarong as poppered dress, long cardigan, voluminous jacket and more ruled the runway.
Yousef Akbar
Yousef Akbar brings a burst of sparkle and all that shimmer from his ‘Incandescent’ Summer 2018 Collection to the catwalk. Inspired by love, heartbreak and fantasy, sequinned separates, floor-length maxi frocks and dramatic feathered dresses take centre stage in a breathtaking manifestation of textures and colours.
Syaiful Baharim
Syaiful Baharim turned up the stakes with a monochrome affair where go-to hues black and white are given sleek update for the modern women who is not afraid to standout. Daring silhouettes lined the body in lace evening dress, jumbo bow top, feathered cape and more, oozing dark glamour that tiptoes between femme fatale and high fashion queen.
