Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) is back for its 11th year in 2023, with a fresh new format that promises to offer a more experiential and meaningful experience for designers and guests.
The new format will see 50 designers and brands showcasing their ready-to-wear collections at 7 different spaces across 7 days. This will allow for a more intimate and curated experience for guests, as well as the opportunity to see a wider variety of designs.
In addition to the new format, KLFW 2023 will also feature a number of new initiatives, including:
- A dedicated space for emerging designers, the KL10 Designer Search winners will be showcasing their collections in a dedicated show slot.
- A new segment titled “Asia Fashion Xchange” will showcase the work of regional Asian designers and labels.
- A networking and educational event called Fashion Connect.23, which will focus on sustainability and the future of the fashion industry.
- The return of the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Awards (KLFA), which celebrates the best of Malaysian fashion.
KLFW 2023 is set to be a major event for the Malaysian fashion industry, and is sure to attract a wide audience of both local and international visitors.
