Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) is back for its 12th edition, bigger and bolder than ever! Partnering with Suria KLCC and KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, KLFW 2024 promises a week-long celebration of Malaysian fashion from July 29th to August 4th, set against the picturesque PETRONAS Twin Towers in a unique purpose-built structure .
What to Expect:
- A Stunning New Venue: A specially built, 12,000 sqft show space housed within the iconic KLCC Park, offering a unique viewing experience for invited guests.
- Livestreamed Shows: For the first time ever, the public can catch all the runway action on a giant LED screen outside the venue.
- Diverse Styles: From contemporary designs to deconstructed pieces, sophisticated streetwear to hybrid comfort-meets-high-fashion, there’s something for everyone.
Fresh Faces and Established Names:
- Emerging labels: Akudesign, Corak, Ghostboy, LARNEY, SHALS, and Tact will make their KLFW debut.
- Bespoke designer: Fuzana Mokhtaza joins the runway veterans like Rizman Ruzaini, Fiziwoo, Nurita Harith, and Alia Bastamam.
Special Segments:
- “Fashion Forward Batik Malaysia”: Celebrating traditional batik techniques with Kelantan-based brand Ruzzgahara.
- “Design To Sustain”: Showcasing the works of 15 KLFW Designer Search 2024 finalists, inspired by the new PEUGEOT 408.
KLFW 2024 is supported by a prestigious list of sponsors and partners, including AmBank Group, L’Oréal Paris, and PEUGEOT. The week will culminate in the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Awards (KLFA) in November, recognising the best of Malaysian fashion.
