MFW logoMalaysia Fashion Week (MFW) 2015 is back for second year in Kuala Lumpur this November 4-7, 2015 at MATRADE Exhibition Convention Centre (MECC), and it is set to be even bigger than ever before. This year, a sole B2B trade fashion event with a dedicated fashion/lifestyle trade exhibition called FACIT@INTRADE taking centre stage of MFW 2015, and it will be further supported by a series of fashion shows and gala events under the MFW 2015 banner.

MFW 2015 consists of three core components:
FACIT@INTRADE (short for Fashion, Art & Accessories, Cosmetics, Interior and Textile)
Malaysia Fashion Showcase (MFS); and
Mercedes-Benz STYLO Asia Fashion Week (MBSAFW)

FACIT@INTRADE, will see 300 booths divided into four (4) halls, centrally spread out across 10,000 sq m floor space, on Ground Floor, Level 1 and Level 3, for local and international participants, trade fashion shows, interactive and engagement activities, and entertainment to both trade (November 4-5) and consumers (November 6-7).

Featuring ten (10) anchor brands, local and international designers and an international pavilion featuring trade partners from across the region.

 

 

 

Exhibition of Muslimah ready-to-wear, fashion accessories, jewelry, footwear and garment contract manufacturer. It’s also venue for interactive activities including workshop and other creative activity and exhibits such as as hairstyling shows, make-up and performance. Showcase works of emerging and indie designers, also students from local and ASEAN fashion schools.

 

 

 

 

 

Stage the first ever “Jimmy Choo Showcase” featuring an exhibit of the renowned shoe designer’s unique creations, once worn by famous celebrities and public figures. Hall E is also purposefully built up as the main venue for the runway shows featuring MFS and MBSAFW, which are by invitation-only events.

This year, MFW 2015 is focused around YOUTH ENGAGEMENT with broad-based programs highlighting young designers, fashion expressions by design and fashion students and youth collaborations with the fashion and music industry. The MFW 2015 will introduce another sought after award, Datuk Professor Jimmy Choo Education Program Awards, where young, emerging designers will be recognised and stand a chance to win a coveted fashion mentorship with the famous personality in London.

Malaysia Fashion Showcase (MFS) will be highlighting the very top tier of leading and emerging Malaysian designers and their collections such as Joe Chia, Bon Zainal, Fairuz Ramdan, and many more; as well as creative talents from accessories, hair and make-up industries.

Mercedes-Benz STYLO Asia Fashion Week (MBSAFW) will be presenting a list of the best Asian designers from various Asian countries with China being its biggest, showcasing their designs using the MFW as its Asian platform. Ranked as the 30th fashion week in the world, this “Asia for Asia” fashion week will feature international designers from over 15 countries from the ASEAN and Asian region.
