Big Mac is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and what better way to commemorate the milestone other than a collaboration with not one but two renowned brands. With that, McDonald’s is tapping G-SHOCK and New Era to release limited edition G-SHOCK watch and a New Era cap that will go on sale simultaneously with the drop of the Big Mac burger sauce.
The exclusive G-SHOCK time teller boasts a Big Mac-inspired graphic on the face, a printed strap as well as the cutest burger-shaped tin. Accompanying the product is a Big Mac box to complete the whole “Big Mac” disguise.
Meanwhile, the black New Era cap comes with the iconic golden arches, a big five-oh Big Mac logo and New Era branding at the back. Being extremely limited, only 1,000 pieces of each product will be released via Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten.
Last year, McDonald’s collaborated with Japanese label BEAMS for a Big Mac capsule collection.
