To make you look stylish with the mask on, MODA president and local renowned fashion designer Melinda Looi turned the masks into fashion accessories by launching a line up of fashion masks for every style, occasion and price point.
Couture Masks being the top of the line, and are meant to compliment the designer bespoke fashion creations. Each one is custom designed and wraps around your preferred mask of choice, hence making it the ultimate mask for safety and personal style. Each mask creation includes a personal consultation with the designer and a mask fitting.
Fashion Masks are fabric masks in the colours and prints of the designer’s latest ready-to-wear fashion collections. These limited edition masks allow people to either compliment the clothing looks or add a touch of the latest trend and of course Melinda Looi’s signature style into their daily look. Produced in small Limited Editions, it has 3 layers and a filter pocket for PM2.5 filter inserts. The masks have been named after some of the volunteers who involved in the ‘PPE for Frontliners’ campaign.
#UnityMasks are the designer’s result on creating a facemask for every Malaysian. She collaborated on this Masks with fellow fashion designer Dato Tom Abang Saufi, and the resulting collection of affordable and reusable masks is both celebrating our Malaysian Frontliners as well as invoking positivity, state and national pride in these times.
Corporate Masks are customizable & reusable Face Masks to add protection & style to companies’ employee’s work day. These masks are directly sold to companies who could either pick from an existing range of masks and colours or they could commission the Melinda Looi Uniform Team to create a customized print based on their company’s / brands’ personalty or objectives.
All masks are made in Malaysia, they are washable and reusable, and hence a much more eco friendly alternative to disposable surgical masks or respirators.
